In Krasnoyarsk, is opened traffic on the fourth road bridge across the Yenisei river. Сustomer: Directorate of Highways for Krasnoyarsk Region; General Contractor: JSC (Joint-Stock Company) «Sibmost». Total length of the crossing: 6.7km., is classified as belonging to the category of extra-curricular bridges and is one of the largest infrastructural projects of modern Russia. STALFORM Int’s specialist worked on this unique structure for duration of all 3 years of its construction.

MEGAFORM AL cantilever — beam system, was used for concreting 29 bridge piers of different configurations with height of up to 27 m. For transference of large loads during concreting of the Y-shaped caps, to the system were added buttresses. The monolithic slabs of the reinforced concrete spans and the multi-level juncture on the left bank of Yenisei , were built by method of over-board concreting. For this purpose, Engineering — Design Division has developed a special system based on FORMEC formwork system.

Contractor’s costs had been reduced due to an integrated approach. Each subsequent stage of the formwork’s application was worked out taking into account the equipment which has already been used in previous stages of the bridge construction.

All formwork applications were carried out precisely on schedule and with high quality of execution. For provision of on-site engineering consulting, determination of best designing solutions, the construction site in Krasnoyarsk was repeatedly visited by representatives of the company’s engineering staff.

Construction of the fourth bridge across the Yenisei in Krasnoyarsk, was completed in just 40 months. Opening of a new crossing will permit redistribution of the traffic flows and reduce the total burden on the existing urban bridges.
